About our Vacation Care

We provide Vacation Care during the school holidays, which caters for the children of Truscott St Public School and the wider community. Vacation Care is packed with exciting activities that take place both in and out of the centre. Our program aims to keep your children entertained during the holidays and ensure that they having lots of fun with their friends.

Vacation Care Bookings

Our Autumn Vacation Care Program is now available for viewing!

Bookings will open Monday 26th November 2018, and can be made via the Calendar Booking section of the Portal.

Don’t forget to hand in the Permission Form attached to the back of the Autumn Vacation Care Program

Bookings can be made via the Portal by following the below steps:

1. Go to https://www.truscottstoosh.com.au/ to access our online enrolment and booking system through the button. This will direct you to the “Becklyn Portal”.

2. Login to the system using your user name (parent code) and your password and click on Login.

3. Click on “Parents Menu” on the left hand side of the menu bar.

4. Click on “Calendar Bookings” from the drop down menu – make sure your window is maximized, to allow you to see the whole screen.

5. Select the first week you wish to book and click the “edit week” icon.

6. Click “book” next to the child and day you wish to make a booking for- refer to the program for the daily activities.

7. Continue to click book until you have made all bookings for the selected week, and click “Save & Exit”.  You will receive an email of the bookings made so far.

8. Repeat the process for additional weeks you wish to make bookings, ensuring you click the “Save & Exit” button on completion of bookings for each week.  NB: The Pupil Free Day is listed against week 1 of the following term.

NB- If you make a mistake you can remove the booking by clicking the cancel button next to the child and day of the booking you no longer require. The functionality of this button will be removed after the closing date for bookings – please refer to the program.

 

Vacation Care No Permission Form Fee

  • Children may not attend Vacation Care unless a signed Vacation Care Permission Form and receipt of Vacation Care payment has been provided. This form is to be provided to the Centre at the time of booking vacation care, but in any case no later than the last school day preceding the commencement of the vacation care period. Families who do not provide a signed Vacation Care permission form and receipt of Vacation Care payment by the deadline will be charged a $50 fee, which will be added to family’s statement.
